We read somewhere that fishing is the UK's most popular "participation sport", so now you can join in too. On a camera with an APS-C sensor, this 10mm fish-eye lens produces an image with a virtually 180-degree diagonal field of view. We haven't tried fitting it to a camera with a full-frame sensor (1Ds series, 5D series, or film), so we don't know whether that will work or what effect it would produce if it does work. If anyone can enlighten us, please feel free.
The lens is very sharp and has an amazingly short minimum focussing distance. You can focus on something that's virtually touching the front element. Fisheye macro, anyone?
Great fun if you can get the hang of using it properly.
