If you're looking at this page, and you're not drooling, then check your pulse. You may have died without realising. This is Canon's legendary 200mm f/1.8L, the ultimate indoor or floodlit sports lens and in the eyes of many people simply the best SLR lens ever made. It's as sharp a lens as you will ever see, even at f/1.8, and the colour and bokeh are superb.

It can be used very well with a Canon Extender (teleconverter). The 1.4x Extender makes it a 280mm f/2.5 lens, and the 2x Extender makes it a 400mm f/3.5 lens. Image quality with either Extender is still superb.
